About Me
My name is Katherine Kilgore. I graduated from the University of Virginia in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Professional Architecture and a minor in Architectural History.
After graduating, I found myself drawn to the sunny shores of Tampa, Florida, where I had the privilege of working with a cozy, yet dynamic, architecture and interior design firm. What made this experience truly special was the firm's ability to tackle ambitious projects with remarkable skill despite its smaller size. It was here that I had the privilege of immersing myself in diverse project types, scales, and phases, while learning alongside a team of talented professionals. I collaborated closely with clients and consultants, taking on responsibilities and training initiatives along the way. From participating in site visits to exploring the intricacies of interior design through close collaboration with our in-house team, each day presented new challenges and valuable learning experiences.

I've recently begun studying for my Architectural Registration Exams and am eager to pursue licensure in the field. I have fallen in love with architecture, as it intertwines my love for creativity, eagerness to problem-solve, fascination with history, and enthusiasm for collaborative teamwork. It has been incredibly fulfilling to witness the convergence of my creative vision and my clients' needs, culminating in a tangible final product that becomes a part of their everyday lives, enriching their experiences and environments.

In my downtime, I find joy in experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, crocheting and crafting personalized gifts for my loved ones, diving into gripping true crime podcasts, partaking in lively game nights with friends and family, and unwinding over happy hours with coworkers.
