King Corona

King Corona, a cornerstone of Ybor City's historic district, has provided premium cigars and coffee for over a decade, embodying tradition and community spirit.

 

In a historic restoration effort, I played a key role in preserving the building's architectural integrity, particularly through the faithful restoration of its original facade. Collaborating with the Barrio Latino Commission, I ensured compliance with preservation guidelines while reviving the storefront and replacing the awning to match the district's historic character. Working alongside a structural engineer, I ensured the new awning integrated safely and seamlessly with the aged brick building, preserving Ybor City's heritage for generations to come.

Now, that the project has reached completion, I take pride in knowing that I played a role in preserving the unique history of Ybor City. King Corona stands as a testament to the enduring legacy of this vibrant district, a place where past and present converge to create a timeless experience for all who visit.
