NCH Urgent Care

NCH Urgent Care on Marco Island, Florida, represents a major upgrade in healthcare services for The NCH Healthcare System, replacing an aging facility with enhanced amenities and competitive pricing. The new facility features 12 private exam rooms, a dedicated triage/patient intake area, and state-of-the-art equipment including CT and X-ray machines.

The project unfolds in three phases to ensure a smooth transition: the construction of the new building, followed by the demolition of the old structure, and concluding with the remodeling of the adjacent physicians' building. My role involved completing construction documents, revising roof access design, effectively lowering the overall building height to align with city requirements.

I oversaw the bidding process for the project, hosting meetings with potential contractors to provide detailed project insights and address queries. Facilitating transparent communication, I ensured contractors could submit questions for clarification promptly. After reviewing and comparing bids against criteria, I provided comprehensive findings to the owner, endorsing the most qualified contractor to bring our vision to life.
